Hunting
With over 4,900 acres of gentle rolling land of the sandhills, Calamus offers a variety of game for every hunter. An abundance of wildlife and low numbers of hunters, it is no surprise that Calamus is an under appreciated hunters paradise.
Calamus makes a great getaway for the avid hunter. Hunters can either camp at the State Park, or stay in a nearby hotel, like the Calamus Lodge. Hunters can also uses the services of the Calamus Outfitters, who specialize in package hunts and have on-the-property lodging.
